Jan Perkins

Jan’s career began as an art educator followed by 17 years in corporate marketing, sales and promotions holding executive positions.  Merging  her artistic skills with her business experience, Jan launched J.DESIGN, a marketing consulting and  graphic design firm dedicated to creative marketing solutions.  Here she developed her vibrant and unique style combining her studio art training and professional experiences in design, printmaking, digital graphics technology and digital fine art painting.

Jan launched her professional art career as a wildlife artist in 2010.  Notably, she has had exhibitions at two global sporting galleries in London, England,  BERETTA and HOLLAND & HOLLAND, exhibited at the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) for five consecutive years and was featured at the Booth Western Art Museum’s exhibition, ‘Wildlife Artists of Georgia.’ Most recently Jan added textile design to her creative range designing accessory scarves for an exclusive Safari collection sold in Europe.

Jan’s latest creative venture is an art commission for the University of Georgia’s College of Engineering. The 2-year, nine-piece art collection was exclusively designed to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the college. The collection is entitled: The ‘Art of Engineering and Technology’ and is on permanent display at UGA’s Driftmier engineering center, in the hub of student activity.
